BALKAN BOYS

The beginnings of band BALKAN BOYS dating back to September of 2009, where they were at the initiative of Rok Nemanič -  Nemo  (who has previously worked with this genre of music) in the ensemble (which in ethno / folk Balkan music most attracted strong rhythms, which raise the atmosphere and temperament) has summarized:
accordion - JAKA KASTELIC,
bass - ILJ PUŠNIK,
saxophon - MATIJA MARION
trumpeT - ANDREJ ŠTREKELJ,
Guitar - FILIP VADNU,
clarinet - TOMAŽ ZEVNIK and
drums - UROŠ NEMANIČ

The idea for the name of the group, depending on the music they provide, but they came up by itself. First of all, their names (idea) seemed very funny, but then they which spontaneously began to use and has gotten in the first circle of friends, then in their listeners. They are reported to Slovenia's Got Talent, played as the opening act for Goran Bregovič in Guča na Krasu, participated with slovenian musicians and actors: Vlado Kreslin, Lado Bizovičar, Klemen Slakonja,…
In 2011 recorded the first cd and in May had their first tour and Jazz Fest Gronau – Germany.
