After gaining the degree in law (Iura Graduate Diploma) at Belgrade University, she decided to continue her studies in Ljubljana, at the Acadamy of music, graduating with a Performer's Diploma. Than she continued with postgraduate studies in Vienna, graduating with another Performer's Diploma. During her studies she
performed various roles for different Opera Theatres and companies in Vienna, such as Wiener taschen Oper, Schoenbrun Theater, Theresianum, Oesterreichische Junges opern theater (Medium, Gianni Schichi,
Orpheus, Le Nozze di Figaro).
Her career initially followed two paths - concerts and opera. As a concert singer she has performed a wide variety of works, ranging from the Baroque, through the great religious and oratorio works to the lieder repertoire and recitals in Slovenia and abroad. As a member of SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (since 1998) she performed such varied roles as: Dorabella, Paulina, Driade, Lisinga, Fidalma, Kaščejevna, Vanja, Tatjana, Marcellina, Suzuki, Magdalena,Smeraldina, Linetta, Berta,....
Since 1997 she has been Professor of singing at the Music Middle School in Ljubljana.
