Last year, when Festival Bled celebrated its 20th anniversary, Professor Michael Friscenschlager himself celebrated a high personal milestone. The 81-year-old educator/teacher in his varied music career first played in chamber ensembles and later performed as a soloist around the world. Michael Friscenschlager is an excellent teacher who is highly admired for various reasons, including his unbelievable energy.

The concert was devoted to the Professor Matija Tercelj, who recently passed away, and who in his long teaching career taught many generations of violinists.
