or 6 Sonatas and Partitas for Violin solo
- P.Hindemith: Sonata Op. 25 No.1
or P.Hindemith: Pasacaglia Op.11 No.5
or M. Reger: one of three Suitas for viola solo

b) Public final stage 8.7. at 8.30 p.m., Festival hall
- first movement with cadenza from a concerto for viola
with piano to choose between: F. A. Hoffmeister
or C. Stamitz
- One piece for viola and piano chosen by the candidate (appr. 10 minutes)
