At the end of the 1990s, Jadranka Juras made a bold step in her musical career as she joined the pop band Planet Groove, which later released two CD albums:  Livin` on Planet Earth and Zakon Groovitacije.

Later, she upgraded her vocal and musical skills at the JAZZ INSTITUT KUNSTUNIVERSITAT in Graz, where she obtained her degree in jazz singing with Prof. Deni DeRose in 2008.

The combination of jazz singing, influences of the contemporary popular music, and the desire to make original music has led Jadranka to author two albums of original songs: a debut album Anima and its successor, Sakura. During her career, Jadranka has worked with all major composers and musicians in Slovenia, and held a number of concerts in Slovenia and abroad.
