Andrej Grafenauer -GUITARR, 1.7. -9.7.2005

Andrej Grafenauer finished his primary and secondary music school at professor Tomaž Šegula. He continued his study on the Academy of Music in Graz, where he graduated in the class of professor Marga Bäuml-Klasinc. He perfected his knowledge under Abel Carlevaro, the famous guitar player from Uruguay.

He is intensively devoted to his pedagogical work as a university professor for a guitar on the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, where he also introduced the high school programme for this instrument.

Andrej Grafenauer performs regularly in solo recitals and in various chamber casts. His concerts are always warmly accepted by the audience and the professional critics.

He also issued many soundtracks, among them two compact discs with works of Slovenian composers, many of which he performed for the first time.
