WOLFGANG PANHOFER cello 2.7. - 11.7. 2007 300€

born in Vienna, studied at the University of Music in Vienna under prof. Benesch and prof. Herzer as well as at the Royal Northern College of Music under prof. Kerschbaum. Later he improved his knowledge under Boris Pergamentschikov , whose duopartner he also is, Steven Isserlis, Paul Tortelier, William Pleeth and Andras Schiff. He has lots of prizes, for example also the Sir John Barbirolli prize. He gives concerts as a chamber musician as well as a soloist with many orchestras all over Europe, Asia and the USA and has plenty of CD, TV and radio recordings. He is a welcome guest of several Festivals and leader of master classes in different countries in Europe, Asia and USA.
